TLDR version: nbn co has released its first pricing roadmap post approval of the SAU. A key target it disclosed is growing the share of its customer base on higher speed (100Mbps+) plans. The company has seen some success over the last eighteen months on this front. Consumer technology trends will naturally drive some migration, but reaching nbn’s targets will require proactive customer education and upselling. For RSPs, there is an opportunity to grow ARPU, but as we have discussed previously, the SAU also brings with it the potential for increased retail competition and churn.
