Verizon’s ‘Consumer Connections Report 2023’ can thus provide a guide as to how mobile data use will evolve in ANZ over the next few years. In this briefing note we review highlights from Verizon’s report and discuss the implications of mobile traffic growth for MNO’s pricing strategies, the ‘fair share’ debate, and the eventual closure of 3G services.
